Yay for nanny planting our garden! I'd been thinking about it for a couple days now of how I was going to plant on friday and then i came home and it was done. It's springtime at the House of BARD.
Let me just tell you how happy it was to come home to flowers today. And potato salad. As for the flowers- they are planted. Fantastic. I feel our real problem here is watering them. We need to do that. Take better care of the flowers than we take of ourselves. We seem to be struggling these days- laundry, grocery shopping, our scary entrance way before Nanny cleaned it... I like watering, and I feel we all love this garden- so I don't think it is going to be a problem. Unless mother nature sends her rath upon us again and sends us snow. Then it isn't our fault for not watering the flowers. When that happens- I'm moving.
Question: what happened to our veggies we bought? Are they on the planting horizon? Are we too late? Should I be taking out gardening books from the library? Would anyone read them if I took out gardening books from the library? They seem to be a hot item at the moment. All the old women who want to garden are taking them out. So ambitious. Maybe us young women should have some ambition. We can dig up half of our front yard and make it into a giant garden, but then become vegetably self-sufficient. Vegetably being a word I just made up.

ha - you're right - we'll need to just water every time we take a shower. so hopefully they don't die - if they only get watered weekly
Bad danger.
Maybe I should shower more?
Once a week it is...
