So growing up - i never had a bedtime - ever - and i feel like this article is full of lies and falsehoods. and the moral of the story is - i will never give my children a bedtime...life's too short.

We had a bedtime. It was 8:30. I remember this because the Pride and Prejudice BBC miniseries chapter ended at 9:00 every Wednesday night. This was a problem, because we wanted to stay up until 9:00 and finish it. My dad said that if we did, we would have to go to bed at 7:30 the next night. I sacrified many a time to finish watching it. I feel I was pretty young when this happened. Traumatized for life clearly.
I wholeheartedly agree Bonnie. I'm not going to let my kids waste 1/3 of their lives sleeping. If I can get them functioning on just 4 hours, I'll have done my job. I mean, look at me... I turned out ok, didn't I?
spose so. but you're right - 4 hours is ideal.
